Overview

The 4th International Iwate Collider School (ICS2025) will be held in Appi ski resort near Morioka in Iwate, Japan, from February 24 to March 1, 2025. This is hosted by the KEK-IINAS-NX and Iwate University.

Application submission deadline: December 8, 2024

During the school, students will learn a variety of topics in collider physics via lectures and tutorials for event simulation. Long lunch break for skiing and discussions are planned. We have invited experts in particle physics around the world as lecturers:

Benjamin Fuks (Paris, France)
Koichi Hamaguchi (Tokyo, Japan)
Daniel Jeans (KEK, Japan)
Olivier Mattelaer (Louvain, Belgium)
Timea Vitos (Uppsala, Sweden) etc.

Thanks to the support by KEK-IINAS-NX, Iwate U., Iwate Prefectural U., Iwate Prefecture International Linear Collider Promotion Council, and JSPS grant, there will be no registration fee, and local expenses will be covered.

We look forward to hosting the new generation of young researchers (both theorists and experimentalists) who will play a central role in particle physics adventure in the coming decades!
