Venue
The school is held in “ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen“, which is formerly known as Hotel Appi Grand, in Appi Kogen Ski Resort, Iwate Japan. The students and lecturers are staying here during the school.
A free shuttle bus between Morioka station and the hotel is arranged on the first (Feb/27) day at 15:00 and the last day (Mar/4) around 11:00 by the school.
The public bus is also available between Morioka station and the hotel, as well as the train between Morioka station and Appi Kogen station. Note that there is a shuttle bus service is available from Appi Kogen station according to the request.

Here are some instructions on how to get to Morioka station from the two Tokyo airports, Haneda or Narita.
The information was obtained from google map. You may obtain updates from google, or from other search engines. The time and ticket prices are approximate. For the time you need for transfers, please consult google etc. We usually allow 30 min in Tokyo station. You can save the ticket price if you purchase IC card (such as Suica from JR) in advance.
- From Haneda International Aiport to Morioka
- Terminal 3 > Hamamatsu-cho: by Tokyo Monorail [about 15 min by airport-rapid, every 10 min, 500JPY]
- Hamamatsu-cho > Tokyo: by JR (Japan Railroad) [about 7 min, every several minutes, 160JPY]
- Tokyo > Morioka: JR Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) [about 135 min by Hayabusa (you should reserve your seat), every 1 hour, 15,000JPY]
There is a limousine bus service between Haneda airports and Tokyo station. You can avoid transfer this way. The price is about 2,000JPY. Please consult google etc for the time schedule.

- Narita Terminal 1/2/3 > Tokyo: JR Narita Express (NEX) [about 60 min, every one hour, 3,000JPY]
- Tokyo > Morioka: JR Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) [about 135 min by Hayabusa, every 1 hour, 15,000JPY]
You can save a bit by purchasing the tickets from Narita to Morioka at the NEX Narita terminal station.
